I have subjected the wheels and hubs to a year of intensive rides and numerous climbs. I have to say that the rides have been not only smooth, fast, but very comfortable too. The wheels are able to hold the speed very very nice even though they are 42mm deep. Amazing wheels.

Roll incredibly smoothly with the NTN bearings with good stiffness through the oversized axles.
The Polaris 42 is lightweight and spin up fast, incredibly stable in crosswinds, fast and comfortable with the ability to run wider tyres without compromising aero profile. Also tough and durable - have survived pretty rough gravel/single track without any issues.

I found the Polaris 42 to be very stable, fast and light! They are quick on climbs and descents, and in windy conditions. I thought the AR-01 hubs felt very smooth and engaging. Overall, an excellent wheel that performs better than wheels in its price range!
