These wheels are the most solid wheels I've ever ridden. Some areas of the ride were very windy but I barely felt a twitch from the front end. Also, climbing up hills you wouldn't think I was on 69mm.

The comfort and astonishingly low weight (1300g) belie the stiffness and responsiveness of the wheelset. In short, the Polaris 42 is a thoroughly modern, well designed, all-around wheelset and will be my main go-to wheel for most of my rides. I really like them!

★★★★★I have been looking for a wheelset for my Street Fighter build and have been researching various options for a few months. I decided on the Polaris 42 and have not even had a hint of regret. Granted Ascent is not a big name brand, but if you give yourself time to understand how Ascent works and what the Polaris was designed to do, there is literally nothing else to consider. $2000 for a 1.3kg carbon wheelset, laced with Sapin spokes to reliable DT240 hubs, nothing else comes close. Why pay the same for carbon wheels that come with no name OEM hubs, which are also heavier too. Believe in Singapore! #confidenceisspeed
